Mountaintop Forest Bathing with Rescued Mustangs: A Guided Sensory Immersion in the Colorado High Country
With Erika Lehmann
June 10, 2026
Step away from sightseeing and into stillness.
This small-group forest immersion invites you onto a private 65-acre mountain ranch at 8,500 feet elevation for a guided sensory hike alongside rescued mustangs.
We begin by slowing the nervous system and attuning to the land. Moving at an unhurried pace, you’ll engage in simple awareness practices designed to heighten your senses—sound, breath, texture, movement, and space.
Midway, we ascend to a quiet mountaintop labyrinth for personal reflection and integration. The horses accompany portions of the experience, offering a grounding, embodied presence as you walk and explore.
The gentle sensory hike includes approximately 200 feet of elevation gain at 8,500 feet above sea level. We move slowly, with pauses for reflection along the way.
This is a Colorado high-country experience designed for travelers seeking depth, nature, and meaningful connection beyond traditional sightseeing.
Expect fresh air, expansive views, quiet reflection, and a renewed sense of clarity and calm.
No horse experience required. The experience is inclusive and designed for a range of abilities.
Total experience time: approximately 2–2.5 hours.
Small group experience. Maximum 4 participants.
